I will admit that sugar gets the best of me-EVERY TIME!!! I do so great eating healthy…and then my family and I crave carbs and sugar. Even though I intend to eat healthy, I second-naturely grab food that makes me calm and feel GOOD. First thing I want on Saturday morning, was EAT a bowl of cereal…granola. Nothing wrong with that-just not a whole food. I’m trying to only eat fresh fruits and veggies. So, I did eat plums and apricots next! But, I had bought a cake mix for my daughter to make a pineapple upside-down cake too. She grabbed that box and whipped out a fabulous dessert-before I could run and hide. So I ate a large square, yummy piece! MMMmmmm! It was sooo devine-heavenly! Guilt set in and I had to eat salad next. For the rest of the evening- I ate carrots.
Today, Sunday…I sat and watched Donny Osmond sing with the Tabernacle Choir for Pioneer Day! To comfort myself, that I didn’t get to go up to this concert- I drank a Pepsi and ate a bowl of cherries. For lunch, we all ate salad. When we came home from church- I ate a PB and J sandwhich…I think it’s because I made one for Jaden. (It smelled so good!) For dinner, I had an avacodo with a handful of cornships. Not too healthy-I know. But tomorrow is Monday-I can go shopping for fresh food again!
